Photos from SF Kids Music Festival

It was a beautiful Indian Summer day in San Francisco.  It was just a perfect day for an outdoor concert - blue sky, fresh grass, yummy food trucks, fun family activities accompanying the variety of music performed by local kid bands and performers.  We got to enjoy adorable toddler band's light rock, high school kids' hard rock, to Broadway musical and Italian opera.  These local young talents put on an impressive show at the recent SF Kids Music Festival.  Our children not only enjoyed the music but also had much fun with the activities.  Little Mr. Sun's favorite part was getting on the Fire Engine.  For Little Miss Giggles, she loved the performance and the face-painting faeries from Happily Ever Laughter Parties.  The best of all, we had fun and it benefited edMatch, an independent non-profit that challenges corporations and private philanthropists to "match" funds raised in San Francisco's public schools, then distributes the matching funds to all of the City's 113 schools on a per-student basis.

Clark took some pictures at the event and some of those were shared in edMatch's recent email.  Enjoy!
